Emblom Brenny Funeral Service remains committed and prepared to safely care for the families we serve during the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak. Whenever possible, we will continue to enable families to participate in the rituals and services that are important in their healing process.
The health and safety of our staff, the families we serve, and their guests is our top priority. We want to assure you we will continue to take proactive measures to help prevent the spread of all potential illnesses in our daily work and the maintenance of our facility. We are monitoring the guidelines from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, National Funeral Directors Association and other state and local organizations. In compliance with the guidance we have been given from these organizations we are taking the following steps:
- Encouraging families to have smaller private services which will still include all the components of a public service. This can be followed up with a public service at a later date.
- Offering live streaming or web casting options for the benefit of those who can’t attend via the Emblom Brenny Facebook page, a family members Facebook page or on emblombrennyfuneral.com.
- Encouraging the public to support families through means other than face to face contact. Sending flowers, a greeting card, posting an online condolence message or calling the family are just a few examples.
Our focus has always been centered on helping people heal and giving the direction they need at one of the most difficult times in their life. We will continue this mission, in the face of these troubling times, with an appreciation for the understanding the community will need to give us. We will continue to guide families in making decisions that offer the safest solutions possible while still helping them heal.
