Bernice Langer, 69 year old resident of Pierz died Sunday, August 11 at her home in Pierz. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Tuesday, August 27 at 5:00 P.M. at the Fellowship Bible Church in Pierz. A visitation will be held from 4:00 to 5:00 on Fellowship Bible Church on Tuesday, August 27 at the church.
Bernice Frances Langer was born on August 23, 1949 in Hillman, MN to the late Edward and Anna (Jamma) Langer. She attended elementary school in Lastrup and graduated from Pierz Memorial High School. Bernice worked at the Faribault State Schools in the 1960’s and she also worked at the Brainerd State Hospital as a Nurses Aide. Her hobbies were reading, playing cards and crossword puzzles. Her favorite thing to do was give her brother Harvey a hard time. She belonged to the Fellowship Bible Church in Pierz, MN.
Left to cherish her memory are her brothers: Harvey (Pat) of Elko, MN, Dan of Cambridge, MN, Gerald of Osseo, MN, Ray (Kathy) of Minneapolis, MN, Robert (Carol) of Crystal, MN, Jeff of Minneapolis, MN, Mark (Ellen) of Hillman, MN; sisters: Pat Nuygen of Cambridge, MN, Maureen (Loyal) Demmer of Fergus Falls, MN, Elaine Scheffers of Sartell, MN and several nieces and nephews and other relatives.
She was preceded in death by her parents; siblings, Jeannie LeDoux and James Langer.
