Alice E. Larson, age 84 of Little Falls, MN passed away Friday, March 23, 2007 at the Clair Bridge Center in Egan, MN. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday, March 27, 2007 at 11:30 A.M. at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Little Falls with Father Nick Landsberger officiating. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery in Little Falls. Friends may call from 4:00-8:00PM Monday and Tuesday from 9:00-11:00AM at the Emblom-Brenny Funeral Service (East Chapel) in Little Falls. Parish prayers will be said at 5:00 P.M. Monday evening at the funeral chapel. Alice E. Larson was born April 2, 1922 in Freedhem, Morrison County, MN to the late Ulric and Minnie (Allord) Rocheleau. She grew up in the Freedhem area and attended country school. Following her schooling, Alice moved to Seattle, WA and worked for the Boeing Corporation for one year. She was united in marriage to Jerome "Jerry" Larson on September 11, 1947 at Holy Family Catholic Church in Belle Prairie, MN. Alice worked as a Telephone Operator for Northwestern Bell until her retirement in 1980. Her husband Jerry died, in 1995. Following Jerry's death, Alice continued to live in Little Falls. Due her failing health in 2005, she moved to an assisted living center in Burnsville, MN. In January of 2007, she became a resident of Clair Bridge Care Center in Egan, MN residing there until her death. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Little Falls and the Bell Telephone Pioneer Club. She enjoyed needle work and embroidering. Alice is survived by her sons & daughter, Gary Larson & wife, Annette, of Apple Valley, MN, Larry Larson & wife, Arlene, of Apple Valley, MN, Lou Ann Schreiber & husband, Dennis, of Rochester, MN; brother, Jeddy Rouchleau of Little Falls, MN; sisters, Florence Tholen of Little Falls, MN, Marie Bieganek & husband, Tony of Sarasota, FL, Sylvia Brousseau of Alexandria, MN; ten grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Casketbearers are Bobbie Schreiber, Stephen Schreiber, Kevin Larson, Steven Larson, Katie Larson & Claire Larson.
