Barbara Elizabeth Jendro

Barbara Jendro, 101 year old resident of Little Falls, MN formerly of Elmdale, MN died Sunday, April 17 at St. Otto's Care Center in Little Falls, MN. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday, April 20 at 11:00 A.M. at St. Edward's Catholic Church in Elmdale, MN with Father Michael Kellog officiating. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. Friends may gather from 9:00-11:00 A.M. on Wednesday at the church in Elmdale, MN. Barbara Elizabeth Wagner was born December 4, 1909 in Silver Lake, MN to the late John and Francis (Belinski) Wagner. She was united in marriage to Frank Jendro on November 22, 1927 at St. Edward's Catholic Church in Elmdale, MN. The couple made their home in Elmdale, MN and farmed in the area all their married life. Barbara enjoyed baking, cooking, gardening and helping her husband on the farm raising chickens and selling eggs. She was a member of St. Edward's Catholic Church in Elmdale and a member of the Rosary Society. Left to cherish her memory are her children, Edward Jendro of Elmdale, MN, Dolores Czech of Flensburg, MN, Raymond (Joan) Jendro of Victoria, MN, Richard (Joan) Jendro of St. Augusta, MN, Jeanette (Donald) Maciej of Elmdale, MN, Ione (Robert) Brezinka of Elmdale, MN; 22 grandchildren, 46 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Frank in 1993; son, Gerald Jendro; daughter-in-law, Deloris Jendro; son-in-law, Roman Czech; brother, John Wagne; sisters, Mary Ann Grill, Rose Lessman and Clara Gadway. Casketbearers will be Barbara's grandsons: Brian Jendro, Paul Jendro, Jim Jendro, Florian Czech, Duane Maciej and Patrick Maciej.
