Beatrice M. Thurber

Beatrice M. Thurber, 86, of Little Falls, MN, formerly So. St. Paul died Dec. 11, 2007 at St. Gabriel's Hospital in Little Falls, MN. Funeral services will be held at 11:30 A.M. Monday, Dec. 17, 2007 at Emblom-Brenny Funeral Service (West Chapel), Little Falls, MN. Visitation will be held 2 hours prior to service at the funeral chapel. Interment will be in the Minnesota State Veterans Cemetery. Beatrice Marion Cavanaugh was born on February 4, 1921 in St. Paul, Minnesota to the late Bernard & Helen (Shepard) Cavanaugh. She was united in marriage to Marvin C. Thurber on May 26, 1945. The couple lived in South St. Paul for many years. They moved to Little Falls in 1988. Marvin died on May 18, 1995 and Beatrice continued living in Little Falls. She enjoyed collecting dolls, stuffed animals and other things. She also enjoyed shopping at Walmart. She had the gift of making people laugh. Survivors include her nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Bernard & Helen Cavanaugh; husband, Marvin C. Thurber; daughter, Mary Ellen Thurber and all of her siblings.
