Carol Ann Lochner, 59-year-old resident of Pierz, died Saturday, September 2 at United Friends in Pierz. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, September 8 at 11:00 A.M. at St Joseph Church in Pierz with Father Kenneth Popp officiating. The burial will be held in the parish cemetery.  A visitation will be held on Friday, September 8 from 9:00-10:30 A.M. at Emblom Brenny Funeral Service in Pierz.

Carol Ann was born on the 11th of July 1964 to the late Charles “Carly” and Ann (Wilkes) Lochner. She reached a big milestone in her life by finally walking at the age of three with the diligent help of her mother. Carol Ann grew up in Pierz, MN and graduated from Lincoln Elementary at the age of 21. In 2008 she moved to the United Friends Assisted Living and had been there for 15 years. One thing about Carol Ann, she loved to work. Carol Ann worked for 30+ years at Employment Enterprises Inc (EEI). You could always catch her with a Diet Dr Pepper, M&M’s, and her iPad. She enjoyed country music, dancing, and going to the casino. Her favorite movie was Walker Texas Ranger. A fun fact about Carol Ann is that she was able to participate in the Special Olympics in two events: swimming and track and field.              

 Carol Ann grew up in a supportive and tight-knit family. She cherished the bond she had with her siblings and found solace and strength in their unwavering support throughout her life. Carol's gentle spirit and compassionate nature touched the lives of all who were fortunate enough to know her, leaving an indelible mark on the world. Carol Ann was known for being caring, loving, and had a pure heart of Gold.

Left to cherish her memory are her siblings; Gerald (Lynda) Lochner, Bob (Cindy) Lochner, Kevin (Linda) Lochner, Steve (Kris) Lochner, Mary (Mike) Poepping, Susan (Kevin) Wilson; sisters-in-law, Jeannie Lochner and Jan Lochner.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles “Carly” and Ann (Wilkes) Lochner; brothers, David and Paul Lochner.
