Carolyn Baakkonen, 94 year old resident of Little Falls, MN died Wednesday, September 5 at the Lutheran Care Center in Little Falls, MN. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, September 7 at 11:00 AM at the Lutheran Care Center in Little Falls, MN with Rev. Nick Landsbrger officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery in Brainerd, MN. Friends may call from 10-11 AM Friday at the Lutheran Care Center in Little Falls, MN. Carolyn Baakkonen was born April 29, 1913 in Cascade, Iowa. She resided in Brainerd, MN for a number of years until moving into the Lutheran Care Center where she resided at her death. Carolyn is survived by her children Lloyd Baakkonen and wife, Betty of East Gull Lake, MN, Virginia Anderson and husband, Bill, of Highland Ranch, CO and Geri Baakkonen of Eden Prairie, MN; grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
