Hes such a character! We have heard this a lot over the years! Charlie was born on June 26, 1930 and passed away July 30, 2020. When Charlie learned he had cancer, his great hope was to see his 90th birthday and he did it! He always lived his life on his own terms. He had a twinkle in his eye and loved to tell stories about his lifeas a young man in the army, his love for his wife, Virginia, and his great fortune to have found his skill at woodworking and machining at an early age. He had a long, successful career at 3M Company for over 30 years. He thoroughly enjoyed traveling around the country, meeting new people and regaling them with his stories. He was generous and fun to be around, but did not suffer fools well.
Charles passed away surrounded by his family on Thursday, July 30, 2020 at his home. He was 90 years old. He was preceded in death by his parents, Phoebe and Roy Sutton, his wife, Virginia and beloved daughter-in-law, Sue.
He is survived by his son, David; daughter and son-in-law, Deb and Ted Dreyer; along with grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sisters, Jean (and Dick) Prosser and Vi Montezyokai, many nieces and nephews.
