Cindy Christine Segler, age 52, of Rice passed away suddenly on Monday, December 24 at the St. Cloud Hospital. Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 A.M. Friday, December 28, 2018 at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Sartell. Father Timothy Baltes will officiate and burial will be held at 11:00 A.M. at the Minnesota State Veterans Cemetery in Little Falls on Monday, December 31, 2018. Visitation will be 9:30 11:00 A.M. at the church in Sartell on Friday.
Cindy was born October 10, 1966 to Richard and Sylvia (Walker) Osiecki in Detroit, Michigan. She married Jim Segler on April 24, 1992 in Marquette, MI. The couple moved around the United States, from Utah and New Mexico before settling in Rice in 2016. Cindy worked for over 20 years for Air ForceCommissaries and as a support manager for Walmart and most recently as a stay at home grandma. She loved photography, sewing, gardening, tending to her chickens and caring for her loyal dogs. She had an adventurous spirit and loved to travel; Cindy and Jim made many memories traveling to Germany, Poland, Austria, Czech Republic, New York and Alaska. Cindy was loving, compassionate and would always put the needs of others before her own.
Left to cherish her memory is her beloved husband, Jim of Rice; daughter, Amber of Rice; Grandchildren, Braxton and Genevieve; mother, Sylvia; brother, Richard (Jana Rae) Osiecki, nieces and nephews, Richard Jr., Reese, Sterling, Wyatt, Katie Jo, Matthew and Joshua; mother and father in law, Fred (Joyce) Segler; brothers in law, Fred Jr. (Therese) Segler and Pat (Betsy) Segler;and dear friend, Andrea Gray.
