Dennis H. Gall

Dennis was born January 5, 1943 in Pierz Township, Minnesota to the late John and Christine (Otremba) Gall. Dennis attended grade school in Buckman, MN and graduated from Father Pierz Memorial High School with the class of 1961. After completing his schooling, Dennis moved to Minneapolis where he lived for nine years and worked at Advance Engineering Co. as a foreman. He also enlisted and served six years in the National Guard. He enjoyed the lake and water skiing with his friends. He was united in marriage to Renee Rudnitski on August 7, 1967 in Gilman, MN. The couple bought a dairy farm in Pierz Township in 1970. He also worked for a short time at Preimesberger Lumber in Genola, MN. He was a member of St. Michael's Catholic Church in Buckman, MN. Dennis served on the parish council, KC's, CM TEC, Sunrise Ag Creamery Board and a bowling league. Dennis enjoyed gardening, playing cards, going over to his brothers for coffee and having Sunday dinners and campfires with his children and grandchildren. His grandchildren will always remember the Gator rides around the farm. Dennis will be remembered as a caring, loving, and devoted husband and father as well as a beloved grandfather, cherished brother, loyal friend, and a very honorable, smart and respected person. His smile warmed our hearts, his laugh brought us joy, his generosity and loving heart inspired us all. We are all deeply saddened by this great loss of a wonderful life that has been taken, and will cherish his memories that shaped our lives. Dennis is survived by his wife, Renee of Pierz, MN; daughters, Karla Kroll (Brian) of Royalton, MN, Jenny Gall of Buckman, MN; son, Bryan Gall of Little Falls, MN; grandchildren, Andrew, Bradley, Philip and Gretta Kroll, Austin and Alyssa Fietek; mother-in-law, Evelyn Rudnitski of Gilman, MN; brothers and sisters, Marvin (Kitty) Gall of Pierz, MN, Doris Hilfer of Sauk Rapids, MN, Diane (Roger) Thommes of North Pole, AK, Jerry (Linda) Gall of Foley, MN, Jeanne (Ron) Thommes of Royalton, MN, Alvin (Darlene) Gall of Pierz, MN, Donnie (Debbie) Gall of Pierz, MN, Yvonne (Pete) Herold of Prior Lake, MN, Leon (Sue) Gall of Pierz, MN, David (Sue) Gall of Pierz, MN, Marne (Lisa) Gall of Hillman, MN, Gordon (Betty) Gall of Pierz, MN. He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Christine Gall; son, Craig Gall;brother, Ralph Gall nephew, Roy Gall; great-nephew, Anthony Gall; father-in-law, Benedict Rudnitski; brothers-in-law, Alan Schmidtbauer, David Schmidtbauer, Vaughn Erickson and Bob Hilfer.
