Dennis Kollmann, 69 year old resident of Little Falls passed away on Wednesday, April 23, 2025 unexpectedly while surrounded by family at St. Cloud Hospital. A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, May 10 at 11:00 A.M. at the Little Falls Alliance Church with Pastor Ryan Olson officiating. Visitation will be held Saturday, May 10 at 9:00 – 10:30 A.M. at the church.
Dennis grew up in St. Cloud with 2 brothers and 1 sister, and he continued to speak to at least one of them, if not more, everyday. He worked at Electrolux from the age of 18 until they closed the doors in 2019. He never missed watching a Vikings or Twins game on TV, and was always ready to have a deep discussion about how they were doing. He attended church every Sunday and had many friends in the congregation.
Dennis married Pam in 1991, and with her came 4 stepchildren. They had many adventures together, with and without the step kids . They both enjoyed spending time with the grandchildren as they both could enjoy the wonders of the world through a child’s eyes. Dennis lit up when children were around. Dennis was a loyal and dedicated husband, spending every day with Pam while she was in the nursing home from 2018 until she passed in 2024. He touched many other lives in the nursing home while joining in the activities, and socializing with the other residents. He also made many friends in town, as many people stopped to give him a ride during his 3 mile daily walk to the nursing home.
We will all miss his contagious laugh, his love of a good verbal spar, and his little gestures to try to make your day a better one. Everyone has a good Dennis story. And we would love to hear yours.
Left to cherish his memory are his stepchildren, Tanya (Jamie) Boser of Bemidji, Kirk (Kari) Juetten of Glenwood, Eric (Cherie) Juetten of Brooklyn Park, Nicole Juetten of St. Paul; siblings, Jerry Kollmann of Albany, Cheryl (Jerry) Metzger of Apple Valley, Jeffry Kollmann of St. Cloud; 11 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Pam; his parents, Josephine and Arthur Kollmann; and sister in law, Kathy Kollmann.
