Dolores M. Kippley

Dolores M. Kippley, 87 year old resident of Pierz, MN passed away surrounded by her family and friends Thursday, April 21 at Cherrywood Advanced Living in St. Cloud, MN. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, April 25 at 10:30 A.M. at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Pierz, MN with Father Kenneth Popp and Father Greg Poser concelebrating. A visitation will be held on Sunday, April 24 from 4:00-8:00 p.m. and from 9:30-10:30 a.m. on Monday at St. Josephs Catholic Church in Pierz, MN. The burial will be held in the parish cemetery.

A Christian Mothers and Croiser Apostolate Rosary will be said at 4:30 p.m., Knights of Columbus Office of the Dead at 6:30 p.m. followed by the Parish Prayers at 7:00 p.m. on Sunday evening at the church in Pierz, MN.

Dolores Margaret Faust was born on March 3, 1929 in Buh Township, MN to the late Joseph and Margaret (Meyer) Faust. Dolores met Raymond, who would become the love of her life, at a July 4th dance in 1946. They were united in marriage on September 14, 1948 at St. John Nepomuk Catholic Church in Lastrup. The couple made their home on the family farm in Agram Township, Morrison County, where they raised their 12 children and farmed side by side for 46 years until Raymonds death in May 1994. Dolores enjoyed reading, vegetable and flower gardening, and birdwatching, especially the orioles and hummingbirds. She treasured her time spent with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Dolores was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Catholic United, Christian Mothers and Crosier Apostolate.

Left to cherish her memory are her children, Sharon (Robert) Lashinski of Little Falls, MN, Keith (Yoko) Kippley of Rosemount, MN, Nancy Primus of Flensburg, MN, Lynn (Hector) Kippley De Becerra of Maple Grove, MN, Clara (Jim) Stein of Kimball, MN, Janice (Roger) Janson of Buckman, MN, Joe (Antoinette) Kippley of Pierz, MN, John (Julie) Kippley of Corcoran, MN, Sandy (Keith) Warzecka of St. Joseph, MN, Rayann (Dave) Davis of West St. Paul, MN, Bob (Kathy) Kippley of Eagan, MN; brothers, Leander (Helen) Faust of Waite Park, MN and Elmer (Kathy) Faust of Lastrup, MN; daughter-in-law Lori Kippley of Eagan; 27 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.

She joins her family who preceded her in death including her parents, Joseph and Margaret Faust; husband, Raymond Kippley; son, Roger Kippley; son-in-law, Tom Primus and sister, Leola Motschke.
