Edward "Ed" P. Pogreba, 50 of St. Cloud, MN passed away on April 6, 2007 in Bemidji, Minnesota as the result of a snowmobile accident. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, April 12, 2007 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Morrill, Minnesota, with Fr. Greg Paffel officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday, April 11, 2007 from 4:00 a" 8:00 p.m. at Emblom-Brenny Funeral Service in Royalton and one hour before the service on Thursday at St. Joseph's Catholic Church. Private Interment. Ed was born on April 17, 1956 in Little Falls, Minnesota to the late Edward F. & Donna (Doke) Pogreba. He grew up on a farm near Royalton and attended school in Royalton. He joined the U.S Navy and served until in discharge in 1981. He was united in marriage on May 26, 1979 to Sheila Anderson in Scotland while stationed there in the Navy. He adopted Sheila's son Lee Anderson and the couple had a daughter, Laura. The couple later divorced. Ed was currently employed at the paper mill in Sartell where he has worked for over 30 years. He purchased property in Alvwood, MN, where he enjoyed spending time and planned to retire. He enjoyed anything outdoors, especially snowmobiling, hunting and fishing. He will be remembered as an easy-going, laid-back guy. Survived by children, Lee (Kim) Anderson & Laura Pogreba all of Bemidji; siblings, Frank (Sandy) Pogreba of North Prairie, Bobby Pogreba of Morrill; grandchildren Abigail & Gus Anderson of Bemidji and step-father, Ervin Kinzer of Morrill. He was preceded in death by his parents. Casket Bearers will be Lee Anderson, Laura Pogreba, Frank Pogreba, Bobby Pogreba, Josh Pogreba and Doug Crabtree.
