Elizabeth "Betty" Wardarski

Elizabeth Betty Wardarski, age 75, of Little Falls, MN, passed away Thursday, January 14, 2016, at her home.

A Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Tuesday, January 19 at Emblom Brenny Funeral Service in Little Falls, MN, with Fr. Joseph Herzing officiating.

A visitation will be held from 11:00 A.M. until the hour of the service on Tuesday at Emblom Brenny Funeral Service. Interment will be in Our Lady of Lourdes Cemetery in Little Falls.

Elizabeth Betty was born on March 31, 1940, in Little Falls, Minnesota to the late Paul and Frances (Lenarz) Waldvogel. She graduated from St. Francis High School in Little Falls. She was united in marriage to Perry Smith in 1960. The couple made their home in East Grand Forks where Betty worked as a CNA. The couple divorced in 1984 and Betty returned to Little Falls. She worked as a CNA at the Little Falls Care Center (Lutheran Care Center). She was united in marriage to Roger Wardarski in 1990 and he died in 1991. Betty enjoyed shaking dice, especially 654 and 10,000, watching Minnesota sports teams, playing cards and trips to the casino. She bowled for several years with the Thursday morning Kaffee Klatsch league.

Left to cherish her memory are her children, Roger (Lisa) Smith of East Grand Forks, MN, Jeff (Mary) Smith of Little Falls, MN, Kim Smith of Stafford, VA and Michelle Smith of Little Falls, MN; siblings, Syl (Dorothy) Waldvogel of Little Falls, Ray (Marge) Waldvogel of Texas, Paul (Joyce) Waldvogel of Little Falls, Don (Bernice) Waldvogel of Little Falls, Jim (Donna) Waldvogel of Little Falls, Lawrence (Gloria) Waldvogel of Little Falls, Jerome (Arlene) Waldvogel of Little Falls, Robert (Carol) Waldvogel of Cecil, WI, Alice Norton of Milwaukee, WI, Mary Amundson of Little Falls; grandchildren, Britton Smith, Brianne Lisell, Bailey Thompson, Betsy Sorenson, Brock Smith, Molly Hutton, Abby Carr, Thomas Smith, Suzy Smith, Kayla Gau, Allie Smith, Dustin Smith, Jeremy Smith, James Pettit; 8 great-grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husbands, Perry Smith and Roger Wardarski.
