Evelyn Lenz

Evelyn Lenz, 96 year old resident of Little Falls died Monday, November 27 at Highland Senior Living in Little Falls. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, November 30 at 11:00 A.M. at Emblom Brenny Funeral Service in Little Falls with Father Joseph Herzing Officiating. A visitation will be held from 10:00-11:00 A.M. on Thursday at the funeral home. The burial will be held at the Minnesota State Veterans Cemetery north of Little Falls.

Evelyn Lennz was born on April 14, 1921 in Hutchinson, Minnesota to the late Wenzel and Caroline (Wosmek) Pulkrabek. She attended and received her schooling at a Parochial School in Silver Lake, MN. She worked at Brown and Bigelow in the Minneapolis/St. Paul area for several years. Evelyn also worked as a waitress where she met her husband Lowhard Lenz. The couple was united in marriage on May 19, 1962 in Silver Lake, MN. The couple enjoyed their younger years together by going out to dinner and old-time dancing. Evelyn was a devoted daughter helping with her aging parents.

She was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church Belle Prairie. She enjoyed going out to eat, crocheting, sewing, dancing the hop polka, card partiesand was an excellent pastry baker.

Left to cherish her memory are siblings, Angeline and Leonard and nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Lowhard in 2017; siblings, George, Helen (Irma), Henry, James, Ernest, Charles, Lillian, Edna (Anna Rose), Betty, Clarence and Georgiana.

The casket bearers will be Dale Silverton, Bob Lenz, Terry Klein, Bruce Pulkrabek, Mark Lenz and Steven Lenz.
