Hilde Brastad

Hildegard "Hilde" Brastad, age 86, of Little Falls, MN, passed away Friday, April 22, 2011, at St. Otto's Care Center in Little Falls, MN. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:30 A.M. Monday, April 25, 2011 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Little Falls, MN, with Fr. Nicholas Landsberger officiating. Interment will be in Oakland Cemetery in Little Falls, MN. Visitation will be held from 9:30-11:00 A.M. Monday, April 25, 2011 at Emblom-Brenny Funeral Service in Little Falls, MN. Hildegard "Hilde" Catherine Eidenshink was born on December 18, 1924 in Little Falls, Minnesota the daughter of Mike & Helen (Sis) Eidenshink. She attended school in Little Falls and graduated from Little Falls High School. She was united in marriage to Robert A. Brastad on May 15, 1946 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Little Falls. Hilde was a house wife and mother and also worked at RexAll Lovedahl Drug. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Little Falls. Hilde enjoyed spending time with her family, especially at the lake. Left to cherish her memory are her children, Jeff (Kathy) Brastad of Maplewood, MN, Robert (Jeanne) Brastad of Little Falls, MN, Randy (Gloria) Brastad of St. Cloud, MN, and Tom (fiance Tina) Brastad of Anoka, MN; grandchildren, Kale, Jodi, Brandon, Justin, Brittany, Ashley, Kristin, and Cherilyn and great-grandchildren, Tucker, Owen, Micah, Koda, Tristan, Brooklynn and Carter. Hilde was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Robert (January 29, 2011); son, Clay Brastad (1986); four sisters and three brothers.
