Jayme Fredrick Keehr, 43 year old resident of Pierz, passed away on August 29, 2025, at his home. A funeral service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Thursday, September 4th, at Emblom Brenny Funeral Service in Little Falls with Chaplain Connie Friebohle officiating. A visitation will be held from 3:00 p.m. until the hour of service on Thursday, September 4th, at Emblom Brenny Funeral Service in Little Falls. Internment will be held at a later date.
Jayme Keehr was born on November 19th, 1981, at St. Gabriel's Hospital in Little Falls to parents Brenda (Bue) and Fredrick Keehr. He was raised on the Keehr family farm in rural Pierz and attended Pierz High School. Jayme began to work in masonry and cement work after school, before purchasing land for beef/dairy farming. He ran a dairy farm for over nine years before shifting to beef farming.
Jayme was united in marriage to Tina Henagin on June 4th, 2005, on the Keehr family farm. The couple made their home on the century-old Poser family farm, where they raised their four daughters.
Jayme enjoyed working with cattle, hunting, and fishing. He especially enjoyed hanging out with his buddies and spending time with his family.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Tina Keehr; parents, Brenda and Fred; daughters, Jenna Keehr, Hannah Keehr, Olivia Keehr, and Amelia Keehr; son, Alexander Gerwing; sister, Stacie Keehr (Ed Isder); brothers, Joseph (Emmy Lou) Keehr and Matthew (Tiffany) Keehr; and 4 nieces and 2 nephews.
Jayme is preceded in death by his sister Jessica.
