Jeannie Kronbeck

Jeannie Kronbeck, 82-year-old resident of Little Falls, MN died Wednesday, November 16 at the Quiet Oaks Hospice House in St. Augusta, MN. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday, November 21 at 1:00 P.M. at St. Marys Catholic Church in Little Falls, MN.

A visitation will be held from 4:00-7:00 P.M. on Sunday, November 20 at the Emblom Brenny Funeral Service and from 12:00 P.M. until the hour of the service on Monday at the Church. The burial will be held in the parish cemetery.

Jeannie Delores Mitchell was born on December 19, 1933 in Little Falls, Minnesota to the late Paul and Delores (Litke) Mitchell. Jeannie grew up and attended school in Little Falls. She was united in marriage to Peter Kronbeck on September 23, 1950 at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Little Falls, MN. The couple made their home in Little Falls, where Jeannie worked for Munsingwear for a short time. Jeannie then worked out of the couples home preparing tax returns for several years. Jeannie loved the world of art and was a terrific painter, both oil and charcoal drawings and portraits. Jeannie loved camping with her husband, Peter and traveled most of United States, Canada and Mexico. In the 1990s, the couple wintered on the borders of Arizona and California. She was a past Cub Scout leader, PTA member, Lucky Lindy Good Sam Club and was a member of St. Marys Catholic Church in Little Falls, MN. She would like her family to remember her for her humor and honesty. Jeannies favorite color was Royal Blue and her favorite flower was the Rose.

Left to cherish her memory are her sons, Kevin (Karen) Kronbeck of Baxter, MN and longtime care giver Gary Kronbeck of Little Falls, MN; granddaughters, Nicole (Jamie) Lyter of Brainerd and Kelsey (Shawn) Wickwire of Fort Ripley; great grandchildren, Teagan Kronbeck, Kennedi Lyter, Tressa Klienschmidt and Miles Wickwire; siblings, Jim (Sandy) Mitchell of Louisville, KY, Bob (Cathy) Mitchell of Woodbury, MN and Bonnie Hanson of Long Prairie, MN.

Jeannie was preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Delores Mitchell; husband, Peter Kronbeck in 2007 and her Rett angel granddaughter, Brittany Kronbeck in 2015.
