Joan E. Saehr

Joan Elizabeth Saehr, 83 year old resident of Little Falls, MN, died Friday, February 12 at St. Ottos Care Center in Little Falls, MN. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday, February 18 at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Little Falls, MN at 10:30 A.M. with Fr. Joseph Herzing officiating. The burial will be in the parish cemetery.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 17 from 4:00:8:00 P.M. at Emblom Brenny Funeral Service in Little Falls and from 9:30 A.M until the hour of the service on Thursday at the church. A Christian Mothers Rosary will be prayed at 4:30 P.M. and Parish Prayers at 7:45 P.M. on Wednesday evening at the funeral home.

Joan Elizabeth (Zyvoloski) Saehr was born April 26, 1932 in Little Falls, MN to the late Michael and Martha (Novak) Zyvoloski. She attended school in Little Falls and graduated with the class of 1950. She was united in marriage John Jack Saehr on June 11, 1952 at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Little Falls. The couple made their home in Little Falls where they raised their six children. Joan was a stay at home mother caring for her children. She was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church and was a member of the choir. She enjoyed music, singing, gardening, canning, bowling, playing cards and especially spending time with family and friends. Joan was an avid Minnesota Twins and Minnesota Vikings fan. She treasured her time spent with Jack on trips in the truck.

Remembering her love and compassion are her husband, John Jack Saehr of Little Falls, MN; sons, John Saehr of Brooklyn Park, MN, Joey Saehr (Linnea Fairbanks) of Little Falls, MN; daughters, Barb (Alfred) Brady of Little Falls, MN, Bonnie Czech of Sobieski, MN, Laurie (Jim) Nordlund of Royalton, MN, Lynn (Rodney) Bartkowicz of Holdingford, MN; 16 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild and a brother, Hubert Hub Zyvoloski of Little Falls, MN.



She was preceded in death by her parents; son-in-law, Gery Czech; great-granddaughter, Haile Kifer; great-grandson, Nicholas Brady; sister, Mary Wuellner; brothers, Tommy Zyvoloski; Michael Bud Zyvoloski and three infant siblings.

Casket Bearers will be: Jason Brady, Justin Brady, Steve Czech, Zachary Bartkowicz, Dillon Kifer and Scott Luberts

Honorary Casket Bearers: Jenny Kifer, Jackie Brady, Tina Beach, Nicole Nordlund, Robyn Nyreen, Candace Weilinski, Kelsi Saehr, Kristin Saehr and Rachel Brady.
