Joseph Bruce Anderson

Joseph Bruce Anderson, age 26, of Little Falls MN, passed away February 21, 2016.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Thursday, February 25, 2016, at St. Marys Catholic Church in Little Falls, MN, with Fr. Joseph Herzing officiating. Interment will be in the parish cemetery

Visitation will be held from 4:00 8:00 on Wednesday, February 24th and 10:00 11:00 a.m. on Thursday all at Emblom Brenny Funeral Service in Little Falls.

There will be a Parish Prayer Service at 7:45 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

Joseph Anderson was born on April 29, 1989 in Little Falls, Minnesota the son of Bruce and Kathleen (Determan) Anderson. He grew up in Little Falls where he attended school graduating with the Class of 2007. Joe worked various jobs, including Moreys in Motley. Joe moved to the Sauk Rapids in the fall of 2015 and enrolled at St. Cloud Technical College to pursue a career as a machinist. Joe loved his family and loved spending time with them; in particular Joe was very fond of his nephew Gavin. Joe had a special place in his heart for his girlfriend Leah. Joe enjoyed playing basketball, watching sports, deer hunting, playing cribbage, and hanging out with dear friends. As a member of St. Marys Catholic Church, Joe served Mass for a number of years which did his paternal grandmother proud. He was loved by everyone he came in contact with. Joes charismatic personality, his huge heart, and his robust laugh are character traits that will be missed by all.

Left to cherish his memory are his parents, Bruce Kathleen Anderson of Little Falls, MN; siblings, Jessica, her boyfriend Shane, and their children Gavin, Cyrus, Memphis, and Paisley of Sartell, MN, and Joshua Anderson of St. Paul, MN; girlfriend, Leah Mitchell of Sauk Rapid, MN; grandmother, Lois McCabe of Little Falls, MN, and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Joe was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Vivien Anne Anderson, maternal grandfather, Kenneth Determan.
