Joseph "Joe" Kobliska

Joseph Kobliska,  74 year old resident of Little Falls passed away at the St. Cloud Hospital on Sunday, May 19.  A Celebration of Life will be held Thursday, May 30 from 4:00-8:00 P.M. at Emblom Brenny Funeral Service in Little Falls. A prayer service will be at 7:00 P.M. on Thursday at the funeral home with David Spearstad. A burial will be held Friday, May 31 at 1:00 P.M. at the Minnesota State Veteran Cemetery. Joseph Kobliska was born March 26, 1950 in Bertha to the late Joseph and Doris (Lemke) Kobliska. He graduated high school in Staples, Minnesota with the class of 1968.  He served his Country in the United States Army. After his honorable discharge, Joe returned to Little Falls. He was united in marriage to Judy Kulus on November 6, 1970 at the Sacred Heart Church in Flensburg. The couple made their home in Little Falls.  Joe worked as a supervisor at Crestliner Boats for 39 years. After he retired from Crestliner, he worked at the Nouis Home Care for 11 years. He enjoyed deer and waterfowl hunting, fishing, gardening, tending to his flowers, and playing bingo with his wife. He was a member of the American Legion. He was a best friend to his wife, a mentor to his family and,  a loving and kind man that will forever be missed.

Joseph is survived by; his spouse, Judy Kobliska of Little Falls; children, Mark (Renee Hall) Kobliska of Staples, Karen McLennan of Browerville, Lisa (Jeremy) Culbertson of Little Falls; siblings, Duane (Jan) Kobliska of Staples, Raymond (Terri) Kobliska of Staples, Carol (Larry) Sollie of Fosston and grandchildren, Sam Liebel, Grace McLennan and Alexander Culbertson.

He was proceeded in death by his parents; grandma, Mary Kobliska and a nephew, David Kobliska.
