Laura C. Boser

Laura C. Boser, 81 year old resident of Pierz, MN passed away Wed. August 15, 2007 at St. Gabriel's Hospital in Little Falls, MN. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 A.M. Saturday, August 18, 2007 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Pierz, MN with Rev. Gerald Dalseth officiating. Friends may call one hour prior to the service at the church. Laura Clara Boser was born April 28, 1926 in Pierz, MN to the late Joseph and Theresa (Dahmen) Schmidtbauer. She grew in the Pierz area and was united in marriage to Anthony J. Boser on September 25, 1948 in Pierz, MN. Laura was a homemaker most of her life and in her spare time she enjoyed playing cards, quilting and dancing. Laura was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Pierz, St. Joseph's Christian Mother's and the Pierz Legion Auxiliary. Laura is survived by her daughter, Brenda Boser and her significant other, Dennis Wozniak of Little Falls, MN; son, Blaise (DiAnn) Boser of Elk River, MN; grandchildren, Dana Miller of Otsego, MN, Brock Boser of Brooklyn, NY, Sara Vogtlin of Pierz, MN and Anthony Vogtlin of Brainerd, MN; eight great-grandchildren; sisters, Theresa Boser of Pierz, MN, Alice Tschida of Pierz, MN. She was preceded in death by her husband, Anthony J. Boser; parents, Joseph and Theresa (Dahmen) Boser; sisters, Louise, Adeline and Marie; brothers, Mike George, Al, Fred and Hank Schmidtbauer.
