Loretta Delores Hansen-Rudie

Loretta D. Hansen-Rudie, 71 year old resident of Morrison County, MN died from colon cancer on Tuesday, June 26 at the Lutheran Care Center in Little Falls, MN. Friends and family may gather from 1:30 to 2:00 on Saturday prior to the graveside service at Oakland Cemetery. Graveside services will be held Saturday, June 30 at 2:00 P.M. at Oakland Cemetery in Little Falls, MN. with Rev. Todd MacDonnell of the Fellowship Bible Church of Pierz, officiating. Loretta was born March 20, 1936 to the late Casimer and Lucille (Pilarski) Piasecki. Loretta was married to Rolland Gerwing of Pierz in 1953, divorced, then later remarried to Lyle Hansen of North Dakota until his death in 1969. Loretta later found happiness and was united in marriage to Gerald Rudie of Upsala until his death in 1993. Loretta was a member of the Little Falls VFW Post #1112 and American Legion Post #46. She attended District 87 School in Platte Township, Morrison County, Minnesota. Loretta was a member of the Red Hats Society. She enjoyed bingo, crocheting, reading, playing cards (especially cribbage) and fishing. She has held many jobs throughout her life. Loretta is survived by her daughters, Karen Kuchinski and Janey Gerwing, both of Little Falls, MN; sons, Thomas (Karen) Gerwing of Little Falls, MN, Richard Hansen of Florida, and Dean (Kathy) Hansen of Washington; 17 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren; sister, Bernice Huver of Pierz, MN. Loretta was preceded in death by her ex-husband Rolland Gerwing; husbands, Lyle Hansen and Gerald Rudie; her parents, Casimer and Lucille Piasecki; brother Richard Piasecki; sister, Doris Zimmerman-Paul; daughter, Kay Hansen-Hoheisel-Brand and Infant daughter, Brenda Hansen. Loretta was loved by many friends and family and will be deeply missed.
