Lorraine (Doble) Meadows, 95 year old resident of Goldhill, OR formerly of Royalton died Wednesday, January 24 in Goldhill, OR. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, January 31 at 11:00 A.M. at Emblom Brenny Funeral Service in Little Falls. A visitation will be held from 10-11 AM on Wednesday at the funeral home.



Lorraine Dorothy Doble was born July 22, 1922 in Langola Township, BentonCounty to the late Fred and Gertrude (Zuleger) Doble. She attended rural country school near Rice, MN. She worked for a few short years in St. Cloud waitressing. In her early twenties she moved to California where she resided for several years before moving to Oregon. She was united in marriage to Robert Meadows on May 22, 1976 in Las Vegas, NV. The couple made their home on the west coast. She loved flowers, her little dog and spending time with her family.

Left to cherish her memory are her step-children, Michael Meadows of Von Ormy, TX, Darrell Meadows of Fullerton, CA, Mark Meadows of Grand Junction, CO and Mitchell Meadows of Stockton, CA; step-daughter, Cynthia Berning of Oak Hills, CA; seven step-grandchildren and 6 step-great-grandchildren; siblings, Eugene Doble, Sr. of Royalton, Raymond (Janet) Doble of New Brighton, Dorene Miller of Coon Rapids, Alice (Ed) Burggraff of Little Falls, Betty Berg of Willmar, Eleanor Rudolph of Coon Rapids; sister-in-law, Sylvia Doble of Clearwater.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Robert Bob Meadows; siblings, Adrian Doble, Donald Doble, Irene Gottwalt, Donna Stromwall; five brothers-in-lawand 2 sisters-in-law.
