Luann E Billig

Luann Elizabeth (Witschen) Billig, age 80, of Little Falls, formerly of St. Cloud, Minnesota, died Monday, April 27, 2015 at her home in Little Falls. A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, May 1 at Emblom Brenny Funeral Service in Little Falls with Chaplain Ruth Jeremiason-Jensen officiating. Interment will take place in Cushing Union Cemetery in Cushing, MN. A visitation will be held on Friday, May 1 from 9:00 A.M. until the hour of service at Emblom Brenny Funeral Service in Little Falls.

Luann Elizabeth Witschen was born on September 1, 1934 to Vincent and Veronica (Hemmelgarn) Witschen in St. Cloud Minnesota. She graduated from Cathedral High School. She then met and married Harold Frank Billig on December 21, 1968. Luann worked numerous jobs in the Little Falls area while raising her children.In her spare time, she enjoyed embroidery and selling her embroidery at the Rice Arts and Crafts Fair each year. Those who knew Luann, knew that she always enjoyed a game of Bingo! Luann also had a fond place in her heart and mind for her friends and family, especially her children, grandchildren and great-grandchild.

Left to cherish her memory are her children, Judy Duclos of Sauk Rapids, MN, Linda (Mike) Streeter of Fergus Falls, MN, Jimmy (Jenifer) Chaffin of Marenge, IL, Robert Billig of Hillman, MN, Roxanne (Frank) Taylor of Royalton, MN; siblings, Alvina Sauer of Waite Park, MN, Rosie Borgen of St. Louis Park, MN, Annette Nettie Kahlhamer of St. Cloud, MN; Grandchildren, Matthew (Kim) Streeter, Donnie (Samantha) Streeter, Carmen Taylor, Nichole Taylor, Megan Taylor, Ashlee Billig, Josh Chaffin, Luke Chaffin, Samuel Chaffin; two great-grandchildren, Noah Streeter, Braxton Taylor and one more due in June.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Billig; infant son, Lloyd Chaffin; parents Vincent and Veronica (Hemmelgarn) Witschen; siblings, Ionella Nellie Blaske, Jerry Witschen, Marcella Mouse Symalla, Dick Witschen, Eldon Butch Witschen; two grandchildren, Shawnna Taylor and Vicki Fitzgerald.
