Margaret Louise Wielinski

April 15, 1928 — September 27, 2017

Margaret Wielinski, 89 year old resident of Little Falls died Wednesday, September 27 at St. Ottos Care Center in Little Falls. A Memorial Mass will be held on Saturday, October 7 at 11:00 A.M. at Our Lady of Little Falls. A visitation will be held on Saturday, October 7 from 10:00 to 11:00 A.M. at the church. The burial will be in Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Cemetery in Little Falls.



Margaret Louise Hayes was born April 15, 1928 in Winchester, AR to the late Henry and Ella May (Middlebrooks) Hayes. Margarets mother died when Margaret was only a baby. She was raised by her grandparents, John and Eldora Hayes and an aunt and uncle Effie and Otis White. She graduated from Florence School in Florence, AR. Margaret was united in marriage to Louis Witt in 1946 in McGhee, AR. The couple moved to Minnesota, Louis died in 1968. Margaret continued living in Minnesota where she met and was united in marriage to Joseph Joe Wielinski in 1975 at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church. Margaret worked at Munsingwear for 30 years. She loved flowers, gardening, fishing at the couples summer home on Fish Trap Lake. She was known to keep a meticulous home and lawn. Margaret was a member of the Randall VFW and Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church.

Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Joseph Wielinski of Little Falls; daughters, Karon Witt of Little Falls, Linda (Hudalla) Rasinski of Pine River; grandchildren, Paul (Lexi) Miller of Little Falls, Laura (Steve) Wright of Lake City, MN; great-grandchildren, Brett, Priscilla, Porshia and baby miller due in October; nieces and nephews, Lois and Sharon Freeland, Mary Jane ONeal and a nephew, John Wesley Freeland of Crossett, AR and a brother, James Hayes of Monroe, LA.

She was preceded in death by her parents; grandparents, Clem and Minnie May Middlebrooks; sisters and brothers-in-law, Florine and Alfred Freeland, Bonnie and Paul Cingren of Bastrop, LA; granddaughter, Jennifer Miller; sons-in-law, Dave Hudalla and Phillip Rasinski.

In lieu of flowers memorials are preferred to CHI Hospice or St. Ottos Care Center in Little Falls.
