Marv grew up in Little Falls surrounded by his siblings, LaVerne, Edward, Art, John, and Nancy. Marv alongside his twin brother, John served a tour in Vietnam. Upon his return to Little Falls, Marv worked at National Bushing Auto Parts, Monahan Motor Service and participated in the family tradition of selling Christmas trees, where he became a beloved figure to local children who delighted in visiting for trees and candy cane treats. He was a long-standing member of the Little Falls American Legion Post #46 and the 40 & 8, dedicating time to honor veterans by placing flags on their graves each Memorial Day and helping with “Wreaths for the Fallen” at the Minnesota State Veterans Cemetery during the Christmas season. His passions included fishing, deer hunting, bird hunting, and time spent at the Pinnacle Hunting Club. Marv especially cherished family gatherings at the lake, and moments spent with his nieces and nephews. He enjoyed watching the Minnesota Twins and Vikings.
