Mike M. Musielewicz

Mike M. Musielewicz, age 83, of rural Flensburg, MN, died Thursday, November 1, 2007, at his home. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 A.M. Monday, Nov. 5th at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Flensburg with Fr. Raymond Donnay officiating. Visitation will be held from 4-7 P.M. Sunday, Nov. 4th and 9:30-10:30 A.M. Monday, Nov. 5th all at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Flensburg. Interment will be in the parish cemetery. Mike Martin Musielewicz was born on December 12, 1923 in Culdrum Township, Morrison County, Minnesota to the late Teofil & Klara (Ozarska) Musielewicz. He grew up on the family farm in Culdrum Township and attended country school in District #31. Mike farmed all his life on the family farm which he purchased from his parents. He cared for his parents on the farm until their health required them to move to the nursing home. Mike was a creative inventor of many things which he used on his farm, of which one was a log lifter and a wood splitter. He also enjoyed everything about farming, hunting, fishing and playing cards. He was a life member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Flensburg where he sang in the choir for 55 years. Mike is survived by his siblings, Ted Musielewicz of Minneapolis, Leo Musielewicz of Flensburg, Carl (Teddy) Musielewicz of Cold Spring and Bernard (Mary Ann) Musielewicz of New Brighton and many nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Teofil & Klara (Ozarska) Musielewicz and siblings; Edward, Chester, Gladys Martin, Frank, Stanley and Clara Tidwell. Casketbearers will be his nieces and nephews.
