Nancy Gerads, 53-year-old resident of Little Falls died Monday, September 16 at her home in Little Falls with her family by her side. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, September 21 at 11:00 A.M. at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Little Falls. A visitation will be held on Friday, September 20 from 4:008:00 P.M. at Emblom Brenny Funeral Service in Little Falls with a prayer service at 5:00 P.M. Visitation will continue Saturday, September 21 from 9:45 A.M.11:00 A.M. at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church.
Nancy (Larson) Gerads was born on July 2, 1966 in Paynesville, MN to Gerald and Loretta (Birchem) Larson. She graduated from Little Falls High School with the class of 1984. She attended St. Cloud Vocational School. Nancy was a typist at the Morrison County Record for 32 years. She was united in marriage to Donald Gerads in 1994 at Maple Island Park in Little Falls. The couple made their home in Little Falls. Together they had two children, Darin and Linzee. Nancy enjoyed sitting by the fire with friends and camping on Big Birch Lake, shopping and ice fishing. She loved to attend her kids softball and baseball games and she especially enjoyed traveling. In 2007 Nancy shared a kidney with her husband, Don. Nancy and Don enjoyed a drive together in the fall looking at the change of colors.
Nancy is survived by her husband Donald, son Darin and daughter Linzee, all of Little Falls, father, Gerald Larson of Little Falls; brother, Mike (Carol) Larson of WI and a sister, Kim (Ron) Lekberg of WA and many nieces, nephews and special friends.
She was preceded in death by her mother Loretta.
