Patricia A. O'Toole

Patricia A. OToole, 86yearold resident of Little Falls, MN, passed away Saturday, October 15, 2016 at Highland Senior Living in Little Falls.

A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be at 9:00 AM on Saturday, October 22, 2016 at St. Marys Catholic Church in Little Falls with Father Joseph Herzing officiating. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will be at a later date at Minnesota State Veterans Cemetery north of Little Falls.

Patricia A. Patton was born on May 29, 1930 in St. Paul, MN to the late Cletus (Vina) Boucher Patton. She attended St. Marks Parochial School and graduated from St. Josephs Academy. Patricia attended St. Catherines College and received her bachelors degree in Home Economics. She was united in marriage to James B. OToole at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church in St. Paul on September 15, 1953. After their marriage the couple lived in Naples, Italy from 1953-1956, then New Orleans, LA before returning to the St. Paul area in 1958.The couple resided in the Minneapolis/St. Paul area from 1958 until moving to Little Falls in 1969. Patricia played an integral part in the Legal Womens Voters Inception. She had a very forward way of thinking and was instrumental in womens rights. Pat and James where active members in St. Marys Catholic Church serving on various committees and boards. Her Catholic faith and attending daily Mass were an integral part of her life, along with the Blessed Virgin Mary. She volunteered for various groups and organizations throughout her life: Religious Education Teacher, Birthright of Morrison County, Lincoln Elementary, St. Ottos Care Center to name a few. She treasured her time spent with her family and taking her grandchildren on vacations for their tenth birthdays.

Patricia is survived by her daughters, Catherine (Dana) Rose, Michelle Manelli Schneider, Cheryl OToole, Mary OToole, Therese Serum, Frances (John) Corcoran, Shannon OToole; sons, James OToole, Jr., Steven (Jill) OToole; brother, Bill (Judy) Patton; 16 grandchildren Amber (Ryan) Jay, Scott (Jessica) Rose, Tony Manelli, Dominic (Heather) Manelli, Christina Manelli, Ariel Bentley, Miles Bentley, Daniel Manelli, Maxwell Bentley, Logan Serum, Bailey Serum, Sean Corcoran, Caitlin OToole, Andrew Corcoran, Calley OToole, and Dylan Corcoran and a great-grandsons, Carson James, Wyatt and Rocco.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James OToole; parents, Cletus (Vina) Boucher Patton; sons-in-law, Lou Manelli and Ronald Schneider.

The family would like to thank Sunny Asplund and Highland Senior Living for the wonderful care and love shown to their mother.
