Pauline Krych

Pauline Krych, 94 year old resident of Harding, MN died Wednesday, October 2 at Cuyuna Regional Medical Center in Crosby, MN. A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, October 5 at 11:00 A.M. at Emblom Brenny Funeral Service in Pierz, MN. A visitation will be held from 9:00 A.M. until the hour of the service on Saturday at Emblom Brenny Funeral Service in Pierz.

Pauline (Chmielewski) Krych was born on July 13, 1924 in North Benton County, Minnesota. She attended country school until the 8th grade. Pauline was united in marriage to Frank Krych on November 19, 1946 in North Benton. She was a stay at home wife. Pauline worked side by side with her husband on the family farm with silo filling and thrashing at harvest time. Pauline enjoyed fishing with her children and neighborhood families at Silver Dam in Brainerd, MN. She loved to garden, especially vegetables and flowers. She was a devoted grandmother. Pauline loved old time music and in their younger years Pauline and Frank used to kick up their heels.

Left to cherish her memory are her sons, Dennis (Sandy) Krych, Lonny (Kate) Krych and Jim (Denise) Krych all of Pierz; daughter, Mary Kay (Daryl) Koehn of Bakus; 6 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Frank; brothers, Ben and Aloise and sisters, Evelyn and Vernie.
