Renee Gall

Renee Gall, 81 year old resident of Buckman, passed away on Thursday, September 17 at her home with her family by her side.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, September 21 at 11:00 A.M. at St. Michael's Catholic Church in Buckman with Father Kenneth Popp officiating. The burial will be in the parish cemetery. Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 20 at Emblom Brenny Funeral Service in Pierz from 4:00-8:00 P.M. and from 9:30 A.M. until the hour of the service on Monday at the church in Buckman. A Rosary will be said at 4:30 P.M. followed by Parish Prayers at 5:00 P.M. on Sunday at the funeral home.

Renee Rudnitski was born on December 14, 1944 to the late Benedict Bernard and Evelyn Anna (Chmielewski) Rudnitski in St. Cloud, MN. She grew up and attended school in the Foley area. After high school, Renee worked as a secretary at Packaging Corp of America in Minneapolis until a couple years after their marriage. It was said that she was very good at shorthand. She was united in marriage to Dennis Gall on August 7, 1967 in Gilman, MN. The couple bought a dairy farm in Pierz Township in 1970. The couple were blessed with four children, Karla, Bryan, Jenny and Craig. Renee helped her husband on the family farm in Pierz Township. Dennis passed away on December 4, 2007 and Renee continued living on the farm until moving into Buckman in 2008. She enjoyed gardening, fishing and playing cards, especially Thirty-one, Crazy Eights and Old Maid. Renee loved collecting Christmas items from figurines to a talking Christmas Tree. Spending one week at the lake cabin every summer and trips with her family were a special time for Renee. She treasured her time spent with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Renee was a member of St. Michaels Catholic Church, Christian Mothers and the Sacred Heart Auto League. She will be remembered and loved by all who knew her.

Left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Karla Kroll (Brian) of Royalton, MN, Jenny Gall of Buckman, MN; son, Bryan Gall of Little Falls, MN; grandchildren, Andrew (Courtney) Kroll, Bradley (Olivia) Kroll, Philip (Jaylen) Kroll, Gretta Kroll (Kaden), Sara Kroll, Austin (Allyson) Gall and Alyssa (Trey) Peterson and four great-grandchildren, Bryson, Brynley & Bryelle Peterson and Beckham Gall; brother, Larry Rudnitski of Pierz; sisters, Mary Jane Marshik of Pierz, Bernice (Clifford) Marshik of Pierz, Susie (Ray) Herold of Pierz, Darlene (Alvin) Gall of Pierz, Bernadette Schmidtbauer of Pierz; sister-in-law, Janet Rudnitski of Sauk Rapids. 

She was preceded in death by her husband, Dennis Gall; son, Craig Gall; parents, Benedict and Evelyn Rudnitski; brother, Jim Rudnitski, father and mother-in-law, John and Christine Gall; sisters-in-law, Doris Schmidtbauer-Hilfer and Jeanne Thommes; brothers-in-law, Marvin Gall, Ralph Gall, Donald Marshik, Alan Schmidtbauer, David Schmidtbauer, Robert Hilfer, Ronnie Thommes, Roger Thommes and Vaughn Erickson; nephews, Roy Gall, Adam Gall, and David Herold and a great nephew, Anthony Gall.
