Roger Paulsen

Roger Paulsen of Little Falls, MN, passed away June 20, 2025, at The Gardens of Foley. Memorial Mass will be held at 11:00 A.M. on July 21, at Holy Family Catholic Church in Belle Prairie, MN, with Father Patrick Hoeft officiating. Visitation will be held from 9:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M at Holy Family Catholic Church in Belle Prairie, MN. Interment will be held at St. Joseph's Catholic Church Cemetery in Pierz, MN, on July 21.

Roger was born on October 18, 1950, at St. Gabriel’s Hospital to Ray and Rita (Poser) Paulsen. Prior to his passing, he was a resident at Oakridge Homes and enjoyed life with his staff Mary Jane, Amanda, Kristie, and all who cared for him throughout his life. Roger also enjoyed spending time with his friends John, Patrick, Alleluijah, and his girlfriend, Rita.

Roger enjoyed watching the MN Vikings, but especially liked watching the MN Twins on TV. He was an avid key collector, and his collection totaled approximately 40,000 keys. Roger always enjoyed playing bingo, church bazaars, and eating pizza, burgers, and onion rings.

He worked at EEI Recycling before retiring several years ago. Roger had many friends at The GAP.

Left to cherish his memory are his sisters, Lorna (Robert) Marvin of East Bethel, MN; Jolene Gross of Ramsey, MN; brother Ray (Carrie) Paulsen of Coon Rapids, MN; nieces Jeana (Brian) Nelson, and Sara Paulsen; nephews, John (Jenni) Paulsen, and Joe Marvin; grand-nieces Ana, Bella, and Sienna Nelson; grand-nephew DaMarko Paulsen. Roger was very grateful to all the people who gave him keys and holy cards for his collections and to Father Ben and Father Patrick for coming to visit him, as his faith was important to him. He very much enjoyed having fellow parishioner Bob visiting with him weekly.

Roger was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Richard; and brother-in-law John.

Roger's family would like to thank the staff at St. Cloud Hospital, the Coborn Cancer Center, and the Gardens at Foley for the care they provided.
