Ronald L. Boser, age 75, of Hillman, MN, passed away Sunday, April 26, 2015, at McAllen Medical Center in McAllen, TX. A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Saturday, May 9 at Holy Family Catholic Church, Bull Dog Lake, Hillman, MN at 11 am, with Father David Forsman, with Father Bernard Kahlhamer co-officiating. A visitation will be held at 9 am at the church prior to the mass. The burial will take place in the parish cemetery.

Ronald Leo Boser was born September 19, 1939 to the late Herbert and Lorraine (Schraut) Boser. Ron attended school in Pierz and graduated with the class of 1957. He was in the United States Army from November of 1957, until his honorable discharge in October of 1959, serving in Germany.He worked as a Master electrician in the Brainerd area for 38 years.Ron was united in marriage to Mary L. Zak on October 6, 1962 at Holy Family Catholic Church Bull Dog Lake. The couple made their home in Brainerd, and then Hillman, MN for the past 35 years. Ron enjoyed snowmobiling, dancing, golfing, four wheeling, singing, playing horseshoes, and tinkering in his sheds.He was a member of the Hillman American Legion Post #602, the Richardsons Area Lions Club, and Holy Family Catholic Church. Ron and Mary enjoyed spending the winter months in Texas for the past 14 years, where Ron was the president of the homeowners association at the Pharr South Park in Pharr, TX.He was the resident fix-it man, and was always on the go with his toolbox, ladder, and golf cart.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 52 years, Mary Boser of Hillman, MN; his son, Doug (Anne) Boser of Andover; siblings, Roger (Mary) Boser of Seven Valleys, PA; Roy (Bonnie) Boser of Lastrup, MN; Randy Boser of Randall, MN; and Ruth (Ray) Westre of Little Falls, MN; five grandsons, Aaron Boser of Anoka, MN; Andrew Boser attending college in Duluth, MN; Alexander Boser of Andover, MN; Devin Nagel attending college in Minneapolis, MN; and, Ethan Nagel attending college in Crookston, MN.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Herbert and Lorraine Boser, and a brother, Harry, who died as an infant.

In lieu of flowers memorials are preferred.
