Joyce Kedrowski

Joyce H. Kedrowski, beloved mother, a 77 year old resident of South St. Paul, MN died Feb 21 at St Johns Hospital in Maplewood, MN after an inspirational 10 yr. battle with cancer, demonstrating how to live courageously and with optimism. Mass of Christian Burial will be held 7 PM on Feb 25th at St. John's Vianney Catholic Church in South St. Paul, MN with Father Terry Beeson officiating. Friends may visit with family from 5 PM to 7 PM at the church. Burial will be Feb 26th at 1 PM at the Spring Brook Cemetery in Swanville, MN. Joyce Hetty Kedrowski was born July 10, 1932 in Burnhamville Township, Todd County, Minnesota to the late Theodore M. and Verona E. (Olson) Stoll. She attended school in Swanville, MN with an additional year at Macalester College. Joyce was united in marriage to John Kedrowski on August 20, 1951, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Flensburg, MN. The couple later divorced in 1976. Joyce raised her five sons while working at Gillette Company of St. Paul from 1968 to 1991. Upon retiring in 1991 she continued to work at various locations. She had worked recently for South Robert St Businessmen Association selling pull tabs at Josephs of St Paul until she was no longer able to in November. Joyce enjoyed crocheting, baking, cooking and playing cribbage. She was a member of St. John's Vianney Church in South St Paul, MN. Joyce was active with South St. Paul Cribbage Club and volunteered with Neighbors of South St. Paul. Left to cherish her memory are her children, Steven Kedrowski, and wife, Cindy, of Chisago City, MN, John "Jack" Jr. Kedrowski and wife, Karen, of, Cottage Grove, MN, Thomas Kedrowski and wife, Midori, of Columbia Station, OH, Timothy Kedrowski, of Eagan, MN, Ronald Kedrowski of South St. Paul, MN; grandchildren, Steven Kedrowski Jr. and wife, Chris, Catherine Olsen and husband, Pete, Mary Beth Bohl and husband, Peter, Matthew Kedrowski, Amy Kedrowski and fiance, Andrew Bestler, Christopher Kedrowski and Kevin Kedrowski; great-grandchildren, Quinn, Abby and Jake Olsen, Paige and Cooper Kedrowski; sister-in-law, Vera Stoll of Phoenix, AZ and many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Theodore M. and Verona E. Stoll; baby daughter and siblings, Donnie Stoll and Jim Stoll.
