Joan Dubbin-Borash

Joan was born July 11, 1935 in Little Falls, MN to the late Harold and Mabel Fisher. She graduated from Royalton High School in 1953. She was united in marriage to Herbert Dubbin on August 31, 1953 at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Royalton, MN. Where the couple made their home. Joan worked for several years at St. Otto's Care Center and St. Gabriel's Hospital in Little Falls, MN. Herbert passed away December 21, 1999. Joan continued living in Royalton, MN and was united in marriage to Bob Borash on July 6, 2002 at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Royalton, MN. The couple made their home in Royalton, MN and Albertville, MN. Joan was a treasured wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She enjoyed flowers, gardening, cooking, baking, visiting and going out to eat with friends. She treasured her time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Christian Mothers, The Ladies Birthday Club in Albertville, MN, the Royalton American Legion Post #137 Auxiliary. Joan is survived by her husband, Robert Borash of Royalton, MN; sons, Daniel (Joan) Dubbin of Little Falls, MN, Robert (Mary) Dubbin, Donald (Lori) Dubbin and Dean (Karen) Dubbin all of Royalton, MN; daughter, Julie Dubbin and friend, Anita McColley, of Minneapolis, MN. step-daughter, Lori Borash and friend, Carol Howard of Minneapolis, MN; grandchildren, Jennifer Dubbin, Daniel Dubbin (Linda) Jr., Connie (Graham) Kimeu, Gary (Julie) Dubbin, Adam (Sarah) Dubbin, Brianna Dubbin, Micah Dubbin great-grandchildren, Sara Dubbin, Samantha Dubbin, Cadence Dubbin, Zachary Dubbin and Nichelle Kimeu. She was preceded in death by her parents Harold and Mabel Fisher; first husband Herbert Dubbin and brother, William Fisher. Honorary Casket Bearers will be the Royalton American Legion Auxiliary Post #137.
