Rosemary Fietek

Rosemary Fietek, age 80 year old resident of Little Falls, formerly of Flensburg, died Saturday, March 31, 2007, at St. Otto's Care Center in Little Falls, MN. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, April 4, 2007 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Flensburg with Father Leo Moenkedick officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment will be in the parish cemetery. Rosemary was born on October 4, 1926 in Flensburg, Minnesota the daughter of Paul & Lucy (Shiek) Fietek. As a child, Rosemary developed health problems that she graciously endured all her life. Due to her health, she lived at home with her parents all her life until they were no longer able to care for her. She then became a resident of St. Otto's Care Center in Little Falls on September 17, 1981. She was always very active in doing crafts, all kinds of needlework, oil painting, and stamp collecting. Rosemary was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church all her life and the Secular Franciscan Sisters. Survivors include her siblings, twin brother, Edward (Joy) Fietek of Sartell, MN, Gertrude (Harry) Litchy of Swanville, MN, Leona Pechan of Eagle Bend, MN, Bernadine Sobieck of Roseville, MN, and Diane Boisjolie of Clearwater, MN, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Paul & Lucy Fietek and an infant sister, Gladys Fietek. Casket bearers are Kerry Sobieck, Frank Strom, Russ Sobieck, Kevin Fietek, Daniel Sobieck and Tim Boisjolie.
