Clyde Jendro

December 16, 1926 — April 6, 2007

Clyde Jendro, 80 year old resident of Little Falls, MN, formerly of White Bear Lake, MN, died April 6, 2007 at St. Otto's Care Center in Little Falls. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 A.M. on Tuesday, April 10, 2007 at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church in Bowlus, MN with Fr. Dale Ettel officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment will be in the parish cemetery. Military Rites by the Bowlus American Legion Post #642. Clyde Jendro was born on December 16, 1926 in Two Rivers Township, Morrison County, Minnesota to the late Tom & Sophie (Yorek) Jendro. He grew up on a farm and attended country school. He joined the U.S. Army and was honorably discharged. Following the service, he was united in marriage to Delores Anderson on September 12, 1951. The couple made their home on a farm one mile west of Bowlus and later moved to the Twin Cities. Delores passed away and Clyde continued living in the Twin Cities. Clyde was united in marriage to Eileen Derhaag. The couple later divorced. While living in the Twin Cities, Clyde worked at Haver Manufacturing for many years. He later opened his own machine shop at his home where he worked until his retirement. Clyde continued living in White Bear Lake and spent a lot of time on his hobby farm in Wisconsin. Due to his declining health, Clyde moved to Little Falls in February, 2006 to live with his son, Rick. He became a resident of St. Otto's Care Center in Little Falls in October, 2006. Clyde was a member of Lawrence Kaiser V.F.W. Post #8901 in Maplewood, MN. He enjoyed fishing and gardening. Clyde is survived by his children, Rick (Sue) Jendro of Little Falls, Terry Jendro of Harding, Tim Jendro of White Bear Lake and Tammy Hughes of Elk River; eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Clyde was preceded in death by his parents; first wife, Delores; grandchild, Trisha Ann Jendro and great-grandchild, Hunter Waltman. Casket Beareres will be Jennie Jendro, Sarah Jendro, Terry Jendro, Rick Jendro, Tammy Hughes & Jolaineah Waltman.
