James Billig

James Billig, 79 of Royalton, MN passed away on April 9, 2007 at St. Cloud Hospital. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, April 13, 2007 at 10:30 A.M. at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Royalton, with Fr. Laurn Virnig officiating. Visitation will be Thursday from 4:00 a" 8:00 p.m. and one hour prior to the service on Friday at the funeral home. Christian Mothers at 4:30 P.M., Parish Prayers at 7:00 P.M. and Knights of Columbus Office of The Dead Service at 7:30 P.M. Interment will be at the parish cemetery. James was born on March 20, 1928 to Herman & Elizabeth (Loza) Billig in Muenster Saskatchewan, Canada. At the age of seven, James and his family moved to Royalton, Minnesota where he was raised and graduated from Royalton High School in 1946. James was united in marriage to Florence Bymers on May 18, 1954 at St. John's Catholic Church in Foley, MN. The couple resided in Royalton, Minnesota. James worked at Crestliner Boats in Little Falls as a welder for 28 years. James transported Special Ed Students for Royalton Public Schools for a number of years. He was a member of KC Council 1804 in Little Falls and was a past Royalton School Board Member. James is survived by wife, Florence Billig of Royalton, MN; son, Randy Billig of Royalton, MN; daughters, Diane Gomez of Marlton, NJ, Maureen (Alan) Webster of Dickinson, ND, Janine (Phillip) Macey of Browns Mills, NJ and four grandchildren. James was preceded in death by his parents, Herman & Elizabeth (Loza) Billig. Casket Bearers will be Tom Billig, Tim Billig, Nick Billig, Mark Fussy, Bernie Fussy and Duane Kroll.
