Paul Waldvogel, age 88 of Little Falls,passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 17, 2020 at the Highland Senior Living.

A funeral service will take place on Friday, October 23, 2020, at the Emblom Brenny Funeral Service Chapel in Little Falls, MN, at 12:00 P.M. Visitation will take place one hour prior to the funeral at the chapel. Burial will take place at the Minnesota State Veteran Cemetery in Little Falls, MN.

Paul was born on October 26, 1931 to Paul, Sr. and Francis (Lenarz) Waldvogel at St. Gabriels Hospital in Little Falls. He attended St. Marys School. Paul served in the US Army and served in the Korean War. He met the love of his life Joyce Finken, they were married on June 27, 1959 at St. Marys Church in Little Falls. The couple lived in Little Falls while raising their 3 children. After retirement they wintered in Apache Junction, AZ and summered at their lake home on Lake Beauty in Long Prairie, MN. Paul worked at Pankratz, Metalcraft and at Camp Ripley for the State of Minnesota as a roofer. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, singing karaoke, shooting pool, watching westerns and listening to country music. He loved spending time outdoors with family, grilling family meals, playing yard games like beanbags, polish golf, horseshoes and having water balloon fights. Pauls children have fond memories of time spend with at his moms, playing cards for hours. Paul was a Life Member of the Little Falls VFW #1112 and he was known to have a Southern Comfort Manhatten or 2 or 3. He worked hard and played hard, he was stubborn and strong willed. He will be missed by all who knew him.

Paul is survived by his wife, Joyce; children, John (Cindy) Waldvogel, Lynn (Jaimie) Kassman, Judith (Jorge) Espino; 6 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren; siblings, Ray (Marge) Waldvogel of Dallas, TX, Alice Norton of WI., Donald (Bernice) Waldvogel, Jerome (Arlene) Waldvogel, Lawrence (Gloria) Waldvogel, Mary Amundson, all of Little Falls, Robert (Carol) Waldvogel of Cecil, WI; sisters-in-law, Donna Waldvogel of Little Falls, Susan (Edward) Allerman of Little Falls; brothers-in-law, Ken (Marcene) Finken of St Cloud and Terrance Finken of Detroit Michigan.

He was preceded in death by his parents; fathers-in-law and mother-in-law, Henry Finken, Marie Finken (Stanley) Proper; siblings, Elizabeth Wardarski, James Waldvogel, Sylvester Waldvogel; brothers-in-law, Robert Amundson, Bud Norton, Roger Wardarski, Perry Smith; sisters-in-law, Wilma Finken and Dorothy Waldvogel.
